I’m Elle Mathis—designer, creative, and the spirit behind L. Mathis Interiors.

Design isn’t just what I do—it’s how I see the world. I’ve filled entire two-story homes, down to the linens, the artwork, and the waffle maker. I’ve created therapy spaces for children, styled seaside weddings, built offices from stair landings, and turned commercial furniture into statement pieces that still speak.

I’ve worked in joy, in transition, in celebration, in reset. And somewhere between the layered throws, the gallery walls, and the tea kettles, I realized—I wasn’t waiting on a dream. I was already living it.

This business was born out of purpose. Of knowing I had something to offer. My work has always been about more than what looks good. It’s about what works. What feels like home. What holds you.

Whether we’re working together for one day or one season, I bring the same energy: clarity, care, and that little nudge that says, “Yes—this feels right.”

I believe in rhythm. I believe in realness. And I believe that even a well-placed waffle maker can mean something when it’s chosen with love.
